Macon - Vire Clesse 2019- Albert Bichot

Pale lemon, medium intensity.Crisp.acidic. Green to citrus fruits ( green apple, lemon).star fruit. Mild buttery on palate. No obvious floral. Medium body and alcohol. Moderate finish. 
Been hunting for any oaky flavor, only to realize this is subregion in Macon. - mainly unoaked. Further research confirmed 80% stainsteel for fermentation and maturation, Only 20% oak, preserving Chardonnay freshness.
